Tube that stands outside for decades.

Galvanized ERW tubing for fence and gate systems and DOT sign posts — HSLA grades to 55 KSI, coating weights to G210, dedimpled ends, and certs that ship with the steel, from Mansfield, Ohio.

What We Run for Fence & Sign

Standard ODs, serious coatings.

Fence and sign tube is a standards business: the industry runs on a handful of ODs, and what separates suppliers is coating weight, strength grade, and paperwork. We run the standard fence rounds and DOT post sizes in galvanized up to G210 and HSLA grades to 55 KSI — dedimpled so your truck doesn't get rejected at the gate, with certs attached to the BOL.

FAQ

Fence & sign tubing, answered.

What tubing is used for DOT sign posts?

Round ERW tube at 2.375″ OD in 10–16 ga, in galvanized or hot rolled, with HSLA Grade 50 and 55 for strength and coating weights up to G210 for long outdoor life. Our DOT sign-post runs ship dedimpled with certs attached to the bill of lading.

What sizes do fence and gate builders order?

Galvanized rounds in the standard fence ODs — 1.66″, 1.9″, and 2.375″ — typically 18 ga, plus 2.5″×2.5″ square post tube. Manufactured to ASTM A513, with A787 available when the spec requires coating inside and out.

Do you supply mill certs with fence and sign tube?

Yes — material test reports ship with the load; for DOT work the certs are attached to the BOL at shipment so they arrive with the steel, not after it.

What is your minimum order for fence and sign tubing?

A truckload — roughly 45,000 lb. Send your sizes, gage, coating, and quantity with your RFQ and we'll confirm, along with current lead time.
