Depends on the spec. A513 mechanical holds ±0.008″ at the corners on a 2″ square, stepping to ±0.020″ at 5″. A500 structural allows ±0.020″ at 2½″ and under, to ±0.030″ above 3½″. Wall tolerance is ±10% of nominal in both.
